If you have signed up to a PgCert at one of the many universities in the UK offering this, we are happy to offer mentoring for you in order tohelp you get your required supervised logged hours in and also get you up to speed in MSK Ultrasound skills. The mentors will depend on what profession you are or what body area you want to focus on. We are also happy to offer one off sessions of mentoring for a particlar area, eg shoulders.
8-9 Sessions of mentoring, generally once a month over the course of your PgCert. You will come to one of our clinics and do a days scanning with real patients. This will be either 1 to 1, 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 with everyone getting adequate scanning time in. Your mentor will be present for your final exam which again is sat in the clinic you have been scanning in and on the same machine you are used to. This is all included in the cost.
This can be paid in full or spread across 3 payments
If you want an extra session to get your logged hours in or you just want a one off session with a particluar focus, this is for you. Maybe you want a shoulder refresher or some extra practice on the Achilles. A one of mentor session can help. This is done in our clinics with you coming to us or we can travel to you, however the travel time and cost of travel will need to be arranged ontop of this fee.
If you have the guided injection module as part of your Pg Cert then we can help with the mentoring for that. However, you will need to line up the patients for this one and we will come to you. The cost is dependent on your clinic location so travel costs and time can be factored in. Contact us for pricing on this if required
As part of your final exam, you are required to have an independent assessor/moderator. This needs to be someone who has not been part of your mentoring throughout the year. We can provide this for you if in Northern Ireland its £500. If you are in Ireland, it is dependent on location as we need to factor in travel time/costs aswell, so please get in touch for a price for this if required.
